My heart feels as though someone squeezes it.

Almost every other day my heart feels as though its being squeezed by something. Its an unbearable pain and I clutch my chest so it won't take me over I can't breath when it happens and it also feels like I've been stabbed through my heart. I'm 20 and I would like to think this is not normal. What is wrong with my heart?

you could be having mild heart attacks than can lead to bigger, dangerous and deadly one. consult your doctor now. never ignore the call of the heart chocking for oxygen and blood supply.

My first thought at being 20 or not is that you need to talk to your parents or grandparents and make an appt. with a doctor if you are feeling a pressure in your chest and can't breathe.  To me it just doesn't sound right.  It may be nothing or it may be something like a muscle situation .....thats what family is for and if you don't have a support network still make the appt.  let us know what happens.......
