Myocardial perfusion scan results

My dad's myocardial perfusion test has shown the following findings: Could you explain it layman's language. How is his present state?
Findings: SA, HLA & VLA sections taken post stress & during rest  revealed
- fixed perfusion defect in (a) Inferior wall (b) Basal area of lateral wall
Gated SPECT revealed EF - 47% ,hypokinetic inferior wall and lateral wall
Impression: Fixed perfusion defect in (a) Inferior wall (b) Basal area of lateral wall

Hi,did they say if it was mild or what?sounds like they found some blocked arteries but they usually say if its mild or what state severe or whatever terminology like even percentage blocked..
with my scan they said i had mild ischemia in three places.
that's all I know as I'm no expert,sorry cant help more.

you may also want to look up the Dr Ornish diet as I've heard it may help to even reverse some heart conditions.(BUT ITS AN ALMOST VEGAN LIKE DIET)
