Need for Angiogram???

Need for Angiogram???

Help!  My Dr saw some mild and moderate calcification in my LAD on a 256 heart CT.  I don't want an angiogram which he is suggesting.  Do i have any other choices?

Is the 256 heart CT, the Cardiac CT scan?  They put in an iv with a contrast medium and it takes a very short time for the whole scan, with and without the contrast.   I thought that had replaced the need for an angiogram.  My cardiologist accepted it as proof of no blockages for so I could try a new medication.  I had a stress echo before that that was inconclusive, hence the Cardiac CT scan.
