Normal Sinus Rhythm After Exertion?

How long should it take one's heart to completely return to normal sinus rhythm after exertion (like mowing a good-sized lawn or jogging exercise)? Is it an extended process, or should it happen pretty quickly?
Thanks!

Hi tc, I think you should, under normal circumstances, stay in sinus rhythmn during exertion, but your heart rate will go up. Maybe you mean how long until your hr will return to "resting rate"? Not that I can give you an answer other than my own experience, it happens pretty quickly and I think it should.
Hope this helps.
