PAC's and Chest Pain

I am a 28 year old female with Hypothyroidism. I was diagnosed with PAC's several years ago and they were under control while I was on Armour Thyroid to treat my thyroid condition. However my doctor recently switched me to Synthroid since Armour Thyroid has become difficult to find at any pharmacy. Since switching to the generic of Synthroid I have noticed an increase in my PAC's especially when trying to sleep on my sides. Last night I was awoken out of a dead sleep by several PAC's in a row and today I am experiencing chest pain at the top of my left breast slightly to the left of my sternum.  It feels almost like a pulled muscle, like a slight burning along with the pain which comes and goes but is not tender to the touch. This has happened once or twice before (over 2 years ago) but I never looked into it. Can the event of having PAC's in a row cause chest pain? I plan on switching back to Synthroid instead of the generic next refill. Is there anything I should be concerned about? I try sleeping on my back which helps but is very uncomfortable.

I would try sleeping with a couple of pillows under your upper back kind of semi propped up at nite and see if that relieves your situation.  I hated it when i would wake up in the nite throwing PAC.s/PVC's mostly because it is scary and yes uncomfortable.  I ended up going to the doc and they changed the heart meds i was on at the time and it really helped alot.  I did have some funny pain in my upper chest as well along with a super hot feeling like an ice pick was being shoved thru my chest super fast and my heart doc explained to me that it is pretty normal for that to happen because the heart is trying to catch up with the contractions that are coming a little early and sometimes the flow of blood backs up minimally and there is no risk as far as my doc told me.  He told me to take an aspirin a day right before i went to bed to see if it would eliminate it and it did.  Just make sure you clear it with your doc if you are on other meds for other issues.

I have left chestpain almost daily but it's very tolerable,
i THINK it's caused by sore muscles/tissue on the inside of the ribcage.

If i press on the ribcage i can sometimes trigger the pain.

A PVC is an extra strong beat, so that can probably cause pain in the muscle tissue that would otherwise not be there.
