PAC's with pace maker

PAC's with pace maker

Hi, I have a pacer, I think people can see my hx? I put it in there, a bit complex. Ablation for IST, big mistake and ended up with tach-brady so had DDD pacer inserted 2005. Very labile BP. Ok, so on Atenolol which, after years of BP's of 200/120, has dumped to 80/40 or so when standing or upright. About 95-98% atrial pacing, no real V pacing. I had to cut my Atenolol in half to 12.5 three times a day, but now I have constant PAC's.  I understand they are NOT lethal, but that does not mean they are not symptomatic. It helps if I raise my BB, but that causes significant drops in BP.  I have had my pacer tweaked from 60-70, which helped for over a year.  A LOT.  I discussed this with my cardiologist last time I was in and asked them to raise it just a few more beats to help with this problem, as I am extremely med intolerant. (37.5mg is obviously not a big dose) he basically ignored me. I have short non sustained runs of V-Tach which get recorded on my pacer. These are really making me feel crappy, so was wondering if anyone gets totally ablated so they don't have to deal with this if med intolerant?  Again, I do understand they will not kill me, but they do a significant impact on my already less than stellar quality of life.  Thanks....oh, I am 55, so not like I'm a spring chicken...and I take up to 160 meq of potassium a day to keep it at 3.9-4.1. (This is a pretty good dose for anyone that doesn't know about potassium)  Periodic Paralysis, I understand this can affect my rhythms, but have had pretty good control. Again, thanks
