POTS and a stroke at age 39

POTS and a stroke at age 39

I am 39 and was diagnosed with POTS about 2 years ago. I was having dizzy spells-light headedness, some visual disturbances etc. I just had a stroke that affected my peripheral sight mainly on my left side. I do not usually notice a rapid heart rate unless I am stressed. I take aspirin now and wonder if the POTS and stroke are linked together? Also before the stroke I noticed in the morning my vision was foggy and then would get better later in the morning-it is like that now too. It leads me to believe that there is a circulation problem at night when I sleep and could be affecting blood flow to my optic nerve. Would being on a beta- blocker help? I am worried about side affects.
Thanks, Ann
