There is a axis or direction in 3 dimensions to your atrial contraction, ventricular contraction and ventricular repolarization. This is giving the axis to each component. The axis is about 90 degrees which is usually a normal variant. If there are no other localized cardiac symptoms, I would probably do no further investigation. This is not necessarily anything to worry about. but a doctor should tell you this is a face to face interaction. The axis on an EKG varies depending no the position of the leads, the position of your heart, and even phases in the respiratory cycle. The EKG is only done with three leads instead of the normal 12 leads, so it difficult to draw conclusions.
Just out of curiosity, where you charged for the screening?
I hope this helps.
Thanks, I have heard of them but their website did not give much information about how the operate.
A post card in the mail. The test cost $149.00. The results were mailed to me 2 weeks later. LifeLine Screening is out of Cleveland, Ohio and travels the U.S. selling their testing - then only suggest seeing a Doctor. Thank you, Sylvia
