Pain in my heart/lungs?

by desertfox92, Nov 04, 2009 02:30PM
Hey all, new here so I hope I put this in the right section.
Anyway, Yesterday my hart beat got really high all of the sudden, my heart was beating really hard so I kinda freaked out. I then took a deep breath after a minute or so and then my hart rate when d back to normal. After this I feel a pain in either my hart or my lungs I'm not quite sure since I'm no doctor. The pains are short and go away after 10-20 seconds. I smoke every now and then. some weeks I take no cigarettes at all and other weeks I have about 5 of them. (never more)

Thanks for your help!

Could be anything from the heart to indigestion, I think (no doctor here either).

If me, and to the extent that I understand your symptoms/concerns, I'd try to go on with life and see if anything else develops.  And, if you don't know the key symptoms of a heart attack, I'd look them up and be sensitive to any of them showing up.  In the absence of any of the other typical heart attach symptoms I'd guess that isn't your problem.
