Palpitations & Alcohol
I have palpitations on a semi-regular basis. I used to enjoy going out with my friends and having a few drinks (nothing extreme). But I am scared if I start drinking again, the palps will get worse. Is it safe to have a few drinks? Does anyone else have this problem?

Alcohol seems to be a trigger for arrhythmias in many people. Although my Cardiologist said there would be no problem with the moderate drinking, I quickly realized that my afib was made worse when I imbibed so I no longer drink at all. It's just not worth it.
