I and my four sisters, aged between 35 and 52, my elderly father, my daughter all have this palpitation thing on eating.  We also have multiple allergies, but get it even from foods we are not allergic to.  Mine got so bad that I was diagnosed with obstrutive HOCM, not the genetic one but just from strain.  (it is a heart disorder of the muscle).  Doctors dont seem to know anything about the palpitations.

I had the issue as well that I got VT runs whenever I was eating something.  This was corrected after a RF ablation.

Best of luck

some foods can cause bloating in some and these can cause palps if u are prone to them in the first place ..there is also the issue altough some might disagree of the vagus nerve being to sensitive to some and get irriated when eating certain foods or all the time.
small trick take your time when u eat and let your digestion work
do not rush your meal.while bananas are loaded with goodness there is also a lot of sugar of the good kind in there aswell and some times depending how ripe they are they can be hard to digest ,,,,spicy foods will do the same on most .......

I think cuttersma was saying that swallowing anything caused the palps, not the food type.

I've had similar experience to cuttersma. Just siting and watching my bedside monitor, I noticed my HR would jump from 65 up to 80 bpm just from drinking  tap water. When drinking ice water, it jumps from 65 up to 90 bpm.

sorry
i was just thinking outside of the box ----i dont see the word swallowing in the post . but they do mention eating ?it is also very common for this to happen when drinking or eating for everyone ..but when someone is predisposed to palps whether by arrhythmia or otherwise it will happen more frequently and be felt more as well is all i was trying to say .......
