I see the discussion going on about palpations after eating bananas. Well, in my case i have them while eating anything. they don't last long but I am definightly feel them. I had an Ablation 6 months ago and the main issues seems resolved but this still bothers me. I have an appintment in three weeks and will discuss t has this problem?his with my doctor but was wondering if anyone else on this board
I think cuttersma was saying that swallowing anything caused the palps, not the food type.
I've had similar experience to cuttersma. Just siting and watching my bedside monitor, I noticed my HR would jump from 65 up to 80 bpm just from drinking tap water. When drinking ice water, it jumps from 65 up to 90 bpm.
sorry
i was just thinking outside of the box ----i dont see the word swallowing in the post . but they do mention eating ?it is also very common for this to happen when drinking or eating for everyone ..but when someone is predisposed to palps whether by arrhythmia or otherwise it will happen more frequently and be felt more as well is all i was trying to say .......
Best of luck
Bernd
small trick take your time when u eat and let your digestion work
do not rush your meal.while bananas are loaded with goodness there is also a lot of sugar of the good kind in there aswell and some times depending how ripe they are they can be hard to digest ,,,,spicy foods will do the same on most .......
