Palpitations and Pacemaker

My mother had a pacemaker put in on Monday September 8th.  She has experienced palpitations over the years.  She was doing fine but last night she starting having a problem with palpitations.  They are still happening and she is very discouraged about the way she feels.  We know that she will continue to have these palpitations even after the pacemaker but she is anxious because of it.

You are correct that pacemakers have no affect on palpitations.
