Pulse Rate

So back in Dec i went to a cardiologist who did a holter, and stress test on me and discovered psvt and said i had one episode of low pulse at 43 bpm at 7am which i woudl have been getting ready for work.  Anyways i have notice today i am sitting at my desk and decided to take my pulse which it said it was 56 just sitting at my desk i am over weight but have been exercising 3-4 days a week for months now.  i do zumba....anyways i am just wondering if this is something i should consult my cardiologist about.  originally when he saw the 43 a while back he just said the electrical system in my heart could have just got caught up....he acted like it was not a big deal, but now i am wondering if i should contact someone.

Good that you had a stress test as recently as December.  But, my EP has mentioned to me several times that a heart's electrical conditions can change quickly.  If you are concerned about your low pulse rates, it certainly wouldn't be of harm to contact a Cardiologists and inform her/him of your concerns.  Good luck!
