QRSD

Hi,

I'm 36 years old and I had the following results on a recent ECG:
Freq: 85
PR: 156
QRSD: 106
QT: 352
QTc: 418

Ax:
P: 82
QRS: 48
T: 68

Isn't QRSD higher than it should ? Should I worry ?

Thank you
GS

No, it's not.

Normal QRS is <120 msec.

If the EKG didn't say incomplete left or right bundle branch block, it's usually just the fact that some of us have longer or shorter QRS duration (which by the way represent the electric conduction time through the heart chambers, ventricles).

My QRS varies a bit (it always does, just as blood pressure will vary, heart rate will vary and so on). I've seen QRS from 95 to 118 in my EKG's.

If your doctor thinks that your EKG is normal, you should trust that and forget technical details in your EKG like QRS duration. I'm trying to teach myself that, at least :)
