I am a 49 yr. old female. I use to have high blood pressure but, it has been good for a yr. I had two mild strokes 4 and 5 yrs. ago. Now I have noticed (for several months) my resting heart rate is ranging between 110-115. I do not drink coffee or smoke. I am probably about 25 lbs. overweight but, it is evenly distributed over my body and not much in the stomach area. I also experience severe headaches, dizziness and mild chest pain. I also fainted about 6 weeks ago when sitting at my desk at work. I mentioned my concerns to my Dr. and he basically ignored me. From what I am reading and with heart disease so prevalent in my family I think he should do more than ignore me? Should I be worried?
