SUDDEN SLOW PULSE! HELP!

I just had a baby a week ago.  This started maybe the last month of pregnancy.. I noticed my heart rate was decreasing. I'm used to my heart rate being pretty fast since I have anxiety. I've never had a low pulse before.. Ever since I had my baby it's been getting slower. It goes down to the 40's and 50's.. I don't excercise so I wouldn't consider myself "fit".  I had blood work done, my thyroid tests came back normal.. I'm anemic and taking iron and vitamin c.  I don't take any other medications. My heart rate does rise according to exertion.  This mainly happens at rest.  My normal resting pulse is in the 90's to 100's..  I'm also cold and dizzy.. BP was normal last time I checked.. Should I be really worried?!  Someone help! Oh I had an EKG done and it was normal but I wasn't having the low pulse then it was in the 70's..

Being postpartum, I would put a call in to my dr. and let them know what's going on. Do you have a heart history or just diagnosed anxiety? Our bodies do crazy things when we are pregnant and trying to recover from pregnancy and giving birth.  Don't wait, but don't panic, just call this to your doctor's attention. Always best to be on the safe side. Congratulations on your new baby!

Thanks..  No history of heart problems..  I visited the doctor and they said my heart sounds fine and ekg looks normal but I wasn't having the slow pulse when i was there.. She is sending me to a cardiologist.  I have had a fast hearbeat and some PVC's but nothing major.. Not diagnosed with any heart problems. I'm just so scared because I've never felt it like this before..  Is it possible that it was just the pregnancy and my body is just recovering? How long does it take for it to go back to normal? Can pregnancy bring on heart problems after?
