Shocking experience

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this or not but I thought I'd ask.  My cardiologist insists it isn't coronary and no test of any kind has been performed.

I have, on occasion, had what feels like a very severe electric shock in the center of my chest right behind the sternum.  It doesn’t seem to cause me any sort of trouble but it’s pretty disconcerting when it happens.  If anyone else has had this I’d like to hear what other doctors have said about it.
