Short PR interval?

Hi, I have inappropriate sinus tachycardia, mitral valve prolapse, and PVC's. I just had an EKG today for chest pain, and the cardiologist told me it was fine. Then I saw the print out if results and it says "short PR interval, otherwise normal".  I'm concerned about this, as I know it's associated with WPW. Also, I'm 9 months pregnant and worried about all of this during delivery. If anyone has any insight I would much appreciate it!

I wouldn't worry about WPW.  I believe there is a signature delta wave in the ekg that indicates wpw as opposed to a simple shorten pr interval which could be caused by other reasons possibly the IST or even simple sinus tachycardia.  If the doctor did not mention wpw then try to not worry.  I would suspect the baby is putting pressure on the heart causing it to act up and it will clear up once you deliver. Try to not stress out. Do your best to breath deep and steady.  And drink lots of water.  Best of luck with the delivery.

Thank you so much! That does make me feel better. You're probably right that the Dr would've mentioned WPW. I will try to stay positive!
