Short pause in heartbeat , is this normal?

Hello, I'm in my mid twenties and I have anxiety horribly bad. I recently started getting palpitations daily and went to the doctor , the ekg was normal and I have an echo and Holter monitor next month . I bought a stethoscope and noticed at times there's a small pause before the next beat. Is this normal or a problem ? My doctor listened to my heart and did ekg and said it was normal but fast. I have good blood pressure and no known health issues. Can stress and anxiety be causing the pauses or does everybody have these pauses ? I'm worried and can't stop thinking about it.
