Sounds like you had a panic attack. I recently, about a month ago, had a very similar incident and my fingers got tingly and numb. If you google you find thisa common symptom of an anxiety attack/panic attack. When I was younger I used to get them just out of the blue.
A leaky valve would have been caught on the ultra sound. Bad news travels fast for tests so if you didn't hear any results, it's good. Still call them for the results.
If you'd like, the next best test for you would be a stress test. This is a stress test for the heart. They put you on a treadmill, you will be hooked up to an EKG, BP, and blood ox levels. You then proceed up through 4 progressivley higher stages. They will see your exercise tolerance and if your heart properly responds to exercise.
