Should I be concerned

Dear All,

I hope that someone can help me.  I have suffered with ectopics for over 3 years - bigeminy (sp) and trigeminy.  Been to see many many cardios and they have all told me that I have no problems with my heart.  I have recently started cycling again as one cardio told me to literally get on my bike and burn off the adrenaline.  This has worked brilliantly over the last few months.  I now cycle every day for 15 miles (25k), but recently I have noticed that I am now having this skipped beats with my cycling which is of great concern to me.  My last visit to a cardio was in Oct 08 and he said all was clear EF was good etc.  I am 44 F with multiple sclerosis - just for some backround information, and undere extreme stress with my Father on the verge of dying of lung cancer.  I had loads of skippies then, but I knew that this was due to stress.  So on coming back home from seeing him I still had a few days of skippies. but now on my bike as well??  This is a first for me.

Please anyone, I would appreciate it.

Many thanks

If your EF is good and stress brings them on, the prognosis is very good. Usually, when you quit worrying about them, they get less or go away.

My condolences on your father's condition, I have over the years lost my parents and know that while it is expected, it is never easy.

I think if you can somehow manage to calm yourself and think on a positive vein you will fined your heart will be doing a lot better.

Good luck, and again sorry at your having to face another of life's stresses.
