Should I be treated by a cardiologist for POTS

Should I be treated by a cardiologist for POTS

Hi, I was diagnosed with POTS in 2000, in the past two years I have become worse with attacks seated resulting in semi consciousness for up to an hour, loss of vision, numbness of limbs and severe fatigue.
Since my diagnosis I have been treated by a general consultant, I am concerned that I should be treated by a cardiologist and would like a second opinion.
I would appreciate some advice in this matter; do you feel that I should be referred to a cardiologist? My consultant had prescribed me Ivabradine which had severe side effects relating to my vision; I am now on fludrocortizone which is not controlling my condition. Thank you for your time
Regards
Sammi

Have you tried posting in the expert or community forum for the Dysautonomia (Autonomic Dysfunction) section on this?  I post there also, maybe someone has more info about POTS?
