Skin irritation from cardio pad
Hello all. I had a successful ablation yesterday but also had to have a cardioconversion. I was just wondering if there is anything I can use to help with the skin irritation. It just feels itchy and abit warm from where the pad was.
Thank you dawn! It's not too bad today but if it does irritate me later I will try some after sun to cool it down.
They gave me a silver cream -- I believe it was 1% silver sulfadiazine -- which cooled it off. I think anything that is good for sunburn would work. I think it's actually a burn. Took a 3 days to a week for it to go away the 2 times I had it.
