Skipped beat during deep breaths, hip pain, poor sleep, etc

I currently don't have health insurance, so going to  a doctor is not an option.
Recently, i quit smoking cigaretts and drinking b/c i was experiencing skipped heart beats at random times during the day.  it started about 6 months ago, once a month, then week, then every few days, and so on.  right after i quit, they got extremly common, one every few minutes to few hours or so.  I also started experiencing, the best way i can describe, a really weird mix of tunnel vision plus extreme depression later in the day.  after 2 panic attacks, 1 trip to the hospital over a possible heart attack, turned out to be panic, i took maters into my own hands.

I used to eat 2000 calorie meals, once a day at qdoba, for 6 months.  I now eat perfectly, regulary. All the other symptoms slowly faded away.  What im left with is that, when i take a deep breath, or am very inactive, (as i now sit in a chair all day at a new job), my heart will skip a beat, or flutter a bit.  Origionally it came at night, right before bed, but now its just random, or upon deep breath.  also, ive been experiencing extreme hip/lower back pain for the last 1.5 months.  The odd thing is that anti inflamitory drugs (ibp) will help ALL symptoms. Including the heart thing. Could this be a pinched nerve in my back causing the heart thing?  if i twist up to the right with my shoulders, the heart thing occurs.  I have minor scoliosis, and my left back muscles are much stronger than the right, pulling my upper spine that way.

it seems like the better sleep, caused by lack of pain and heart things when taking the ibuprofin seems to fix the weird feeling/vision/depression later in the day.  I am at a total loss of understanding as to why any of this might be happening, except that maybe a nerve in my neck/back is pinched.  Also, I get a weird fluttering in my throat, like ive got a pill stuck in there, but nothings in there.  like i have to burp, or cough or something.  Also, some tingling in hands every now and then, along with blotchy skin on palms during the tingling.

I am 155 lbs, male, 6',  20 years , fit, but not athletic. almost zero body fat.
anyone?  The heart thing and hip pain are the only real big problems here for me

Most of the help on this community comes from people who can directly relate to the posted question/statement. Your case is rather complex and for that reason may not "map" to the experience of anyone reading.

You seemed to get some relief from ibuprofen, if I read your post correctly.  You may want to consider instead taking aspirin every day.  As you know, aspirin has some therapeutic heat benefits.

I have been through what you are experiencing and have eliminated my symptoms with the simple changes outlined below.

First, alcohol, caffiene and nicotine all cause irregular heart hearbeat. You eliminated 2, great job, get rid of the caffiene. Check out the book "Wake up to the hidden dangers of America's #1 Drug" by Stephen Cherniske. My symptoms were eliminated when I removed caffiene.

Second, the panic attacks and muscle/joint pain can be relieved by mineral supplementation and hydration. Poor electrolytes and dehydration can cause irregular heartbeat. Take 400mg daily of magnesium glycinate. Or, find a calcium/magnesium combination supplement.

Third, get a minimum of 5 straight hours of sleep every night without waking. If you don't do this, your adrenaline production will be 20% of normal which will cause poor fluid balance and mineral retention.

Good luck - Mark
