"Skipped" beat to double beat...

I had an EP study last week where the doctor couldn't find any pathways.  I had a catheter ablation 2 years ago for A-fib and have had episodes of pvc's for the past 6 months.  I always had the sensation of a missed beat, where I could actually feel in my pulse like it would beat 4 times, stop and then a huge thump and do it all over again.  I know with pvc's that is actually a double beat going on.  My heart rate is normally low (low 50's) except when I'm having episodes of irregularity, then it can shoot up over 100 without me even moving from the couch.

Currently I'm sitting at my desk at work, not really stressed over anything as all my work is done for the day and I didn't have any caffeine today.  My heart started racing while just sitting here, up to 96 bpm and I have that strange "flippy" sensation in my chest.  When I feel my pulse I can actually feel double beats now, no missed beat with a big thump, but actual 2 beats at once kind of thing.  Could this be the same pvc thing?   The doctor put me on metroplol 25mg daily last week, could this have something to do with the medicine?

The fluttering in my chest is very frustrating and I'm actually starting to get a headache from it going on for so long (about an hour now).

I think pvcs are always different feeling.
I have lots of the ones where I do not feel anything in my chest, but if I were to take my pulse it would be pauses or double beats together, or both. Rare for me is the strong kick. Most of mine have no huge thump that everyone speaks of. I also have the flutters, usually those are very rare where they take your breath away, but today I had one, then another.
I guess everyone feels them differently and depending on the timing so I hear.
