Stethoscope: Man vs Women

I'm here to ask a quick question, will a mans normal heart sound the same as a woman's normal heart. Me and my gf listened to ours, hers sounds more vivid two beats while mines more quiet two beats...we have the same rythm... but mine sounds like more (muffled) as she described it like it was beating with a thicker beat or something. I do have lvh...thickness of 1.5 I'm 6'2 230 and were both the same age.

Thanks I'll try that, I was tring to hear mine but it was a little hard to hear but if I put if under my left peck, inbetween my ribcage and my breast bone and press firm I can hear it better. I think they say it's where the left ventricle is

It depends on all sorts of stuff.  What type of scope is it?   Is it a cardiology scope, or respiratory?

When a physician is listening for heart sounds a big component is listening for turbulence and valve sounds.

It's not uncommon to have trouble hearing if someone has more muscle mass or fat on the chest wall.   Try googling this info and diagram where to place the scope.   Another trick I learned (for men) is to place it over the left arola and press hard into the lower apex.   Works on me.
