Supplements

I had an ablation over a year ago and have been doing well except I cannot seem to keep my blood thinned enough and am pretty sure its not what I am eating but may be the supplements that I am taking. I have always taken C,E, CALCUIM,FOLIC ACID AND GARLIC. I have recently added D, Acai Berry , Omega 3, and Resveratrol and am concerned that one of these may be effecting my vitamin K numbers. I am on 7.5 warfrn for five days anand they just had me start 10 mg for two days but I am not seeing any difference. My last test was 1.6. Can you clear any of this up for me?

There's nothing in your list that says too much vitamin K.  I take a multi vitamin that includes about 25% daily requirement for vitamin K.  I take 5 mg of Warfarin and that holds me in range most of the time, INR between 2-3.   I am a big guy too, I guess size doesn't matter in therms of the dose required.

Do you eat a lot of green salads and some of the K-rich green vegetables?  I guess it really doesn't matter as long as one is consistent.  Maybe you just need a higher dose.
