Tachycardia and heart changes on holter monitor

by iris986, Jul 01, 2009 06:52PM
I talked to my cardiologist nurse today and she told me he said on my holter monitor that i was having tachycardia while i was mowing the lawn(is that bad?) and that i was having heart changes. What does this mean?

I believe at rest HR of 130+ is considered tachycardia...but that would not be the case for mowing the lawn if you are working very hard.  If you're riding a lawn mower it is, if you pushing a mower on uneven ground it isn't.

You'll have to ask what "having heart changes" means, that is not a precise or specific diagnosis in my view.
