Tired of Rapid and Irregualar Heartbeats

I have been told over years, I have heart murmur, leaking valve, or not so,  but have been on Lanoxin for over 20 years and finally switched to Verapamil as Toprol gave me nightmares or vivid dreams for two months.   I recently developed a steady low weakening feeling of pain in my left arm and tingling in left hand and foot as well.   I've experience these feelings before and went away, but now it is staying with me for last 3 months.   I've recently had MRI, MRA, Echogram, and wearing a Holter (4th time)   Never had a tube been down my throat to see if anything has been happening there, as I have burped louding for many years.    What can this be?   I' had 3 catherization in last 15 years.   Nothing there.

Did you have your echo/MRI...Holter before or after the "weakening feeling of pain..."?  If before, then something those tests would uncover could yet be found using those tests.  If you had the tests after the symptoms started, and the tests showed all is well, I would  guess there is nothing serious goiong on.

Leaky valves is a problem that may cause heart enlargement, this could lead to new symptoms.  Did the echocardiogram show you valve leakage is unchanged?

All these tests were done last week, after this started, but have had them all before in last ten years.  Do not have the results yet.  But tachycardia and arrhythmia was also a diagnosis which has been toss back and forth in past.   Two past cardiologist have stated I should encourage my primary doctor to order a scope down my throat, which he decided was not necessary.   One stated a stated a Transesophageal Study should be done.   I have 51 allergies, wheat, bananas, etc, and the allergist said some of these could cause rapid heart beats!

I haven'figured working the respond yet.  I guess there isn't anything serious again, no calls from the doctors this past Friday.    Do have an apptmt with cardio on Thurs.
