Treadmill today was eventful!

Treadmill today was eventful!

Today I had my stress test and atleast they captured what I have been feeling. They got my HR up to 185 and did treadmill 10 min. Had about 3-4 pvc's during test then in recovery they were every other beat and a couple back to back. They last ted a few hours. I tried not to panic like I normally do. I figured they sent me home. My blood pressure stayed great he entire time and everything else looked good. Waiting to head back from dr now. Started a new herbalist today to deal with the fear that has consumed me. My pvc's come on with any exertion of any kind. They say just pvc's. Don't hunk I've had any afib although not sure what afib is like. My chest hurts constantly so not sure if from this or stress feels like My whole upper body front and back hurt. Probay tension

Any advice?

They might be "recovery PVCs".  THere's a link between recovery PVCs and I think early signs of ischemia, but I'm not sure.  The suggestion I saw was that a statin can help with recovery PVCs if the issue is ischemia.

It sounds like your heart is structurally fine though I would assume you will get all the results from your doctor on your followup.  If it is just simple pvcs then you may not need to do much of anything but I would definitely get to the bottom of what is going on so you can at least know what you are dealing with.  I will say try to do your best to relax.  If your heart is structurally fine the condition is likely not going to put you in any danger but the stress will definitely make it feel worse.  When you start to notice an episode coming on do your best to take some deep breaths and relax.  Hopefully this should ease the pain a bit and calm you down.  Good luck and let us know how it is going.
