I live in the uk and no one seems to have heard of the Acai Berry, i follow a low carb diet so i don't eat fruit or veg much. What is this Acai Berry? What does it do? Is it any good for my diet? and where can i get it?
What brand works well? I want to be able to throw peels and stuff in......I don't want anything that will get stuck.

Gwanda, I love Acai berry. Costco carries a drink and I love it. My friends mom used Monavie and had dramatic changes in her diabetes. Good stuff.
RN Rita, QVC has great sales on juicers. Just keep on the look out. I got mine for 50% off and only spent 50 bucks. The chane in your body is worth the $$.

juicer's dont have to be very expensive a good starting one should be about 40-70 us ,,,u can get really expensive ones but they are for look ,,treat yourself sometime it will be worth it

when i say treat juice's as a meal i dont mean to replace your standard meal but if u jucied 1 apple 2 carrots 1 stick of celery some spinach etc u could drink the juice quite fast but u would not eat the veg as fast if u know what i mean so juice;s are meant to be chewed or like if u were eating the veg ,,if i was having a juice i would have it with a sandwhich with wholegrain bread thus still getting fibre etc and getting the full benefits of the enzyme's from the veg.our enzymes get depleted in time as we get older so juicing is an excellent way to top up our enzyme bank so to speak .when we cook our veg we also cook the enzymes and guess what kills these healthy beauties heat so when we first start juicing we might get a few side effects like a slight headache dont worry it means the goodness has arrived just drink them slowly but still have your fruit as normally as well if u want the fibre .carrots celery,spinach and bunch of others i would eat raw or very ligthly heated in a pan with a drop of olive oil i never boil them ,,but that is just me
they have excellent health benefits i am not sure about bp effects but a cleansed body will function better in the long run .i would have one a day ,and it is best drank straight away ...slowly...a juicer is the best thing to have in your kitchen

5 carrrots
1 raw beetroot
1/2 a cucumber
1 stick of celery
2 handfuls of spinach
1 handful of broccoli
1/4 of lime
1/4 of lemon
top and tail the carrots and peel the lemon and lime ,and juice everything u can add ice if u wish and drink and enjoy and replenish your enzyme account lol
avocado surprise
1/2 a lemon
2 tomatoes
4 carrots
1/4 inch of ginger
3 apples
1 ripe avocado
juice the lemon,toms,carrots,apples and ginger,,,,,,,,,put the avocado into blender {cant juice} and then add the juice ...blend until creamy and enjoy the nutrients

1/2 large cumumber
wheatgrass if u have some
simply juice the lot
rem apples and carrots are geneally used in all juices as bases and are called crapple bases and u can have fun putting in whatever take your fancy
a nice snack to have with a small juice
2 slices of rye bread
1/2 ripe avocado
can of sardines or tuna or salmon [FISH OILS ANYONE
1/2 lemon
toast the bread ,cut the avocado and scoop out the flesh and spread on the bread then place your desired fish above on top cut the lemon and squeeze the juice over for taste .and enjoy

Thanks for the note. I just want this to be over or calm it down some how. I dont know what else to do. Wheatgrass hmmm. What does that look like and where would I buy that? Do you juice often? Any favorite recipes?

I have not used the juice to replace a meal yet but it does fill me up for a while so it probably could. My tummy and intestines do feel better but some of the veggies will cleanse you. There might be a few occasions at first where you poo a lot because of the cleanse. That made for the uncomfortable night. Not all night just a lot of noise going on in there and an interesting site in the morning. Since then nothing like that. I think that my body is used to it now. Lagoya might be able to explain more since I am fairly new to this. If you go to the web site and look up the veggies that you want to juice it will tell you if it effects blood pressure or not. I add ground flax seed into a lot of my foods. I think that helps with fibre. I dont know to much about that. Just remember that juicing is getting the raw vitamins so be careful to not over do it. Im sure the fruit part of it is ok to do a lot other than the getting to much sugar but the veggies you need to read because you can get to much of a few of them. The site really breaks it down for you its nice.
I am always looking for what ELSE can I do- especially if it is NONpharmaceutical and therefore LESS possibility of side effects. So... these juices are to replace meals? You feel better? Does it necessarily DROP your blood pressure? I mean... what if I can't tolerate it being dropped anymore? Isn't FIBER one of the best parts of veggies? Taking altogether too many slow you down meds already... I NEED the fibre (if you catch my drift). What was the effects of "2 uncomfortable nights" on vegetable juices?
beetroot juice is a cleanser to the blood .apple and carrot are always the best bases and add the rest and should taste better ..........have u tried adding wheatgrass now there is a juice that will put a spring in the body as a whole ....juices not only are full of enzymes that are mostly destroyed by cooking methods they are full of vitimins ,,the only small thing to rem is to treat them as a meal and drink slowely as they can raise the sugar level quite fast seeing as the fibre is taken out.
