Trying to understand result letter

Hi,
I was sent home one day from the doctors office with a heart monitor holter to wear for 24 hours.
Just got the results and dont really under stand them.

"Appears to be sinus rythm thoughout study.
Rare ectopy seen as isolated VE and SVE beats and one SVE couplet. Sinus tachycardia appeared for 23% of study. Maximim heart rate seen was 139 BPM."

This is all it said and I am not sure what it means. I am assuming everything is fine since they sent a letter with no follow up.
If u could help me understand what this means I would greatly appriciate it.

Hi,

Sinus rhythm throughout means that your heart beat consistently. Rare (meaning infrequent) Ectopy (Heart Beats that were caused somewhere on the heart other than the heart's natural pacemaker), seen as isolated VE (Ventricular Ectopy, likely a Premature Ventricular Contraction also known as a PVC), and SVE (Supra Ventricular Ectopy, in other words, it originated above the Ventricles, Supra means above), and one SVE Couplet, (two beats occurred in rapid succession). Sinus Tachycardia appeared for 23% of the study, meaning that your heart rate was faster than 100 beats per minute during that time.

Just to be sure though, call your Doctor's office and ask for their assessment of the study. It's been my experience that the Doctor keeps the results and just tells me if it is good or bad.

Be well.
