Undiagnosed

I'm not really sure were I should start? This all started when I had a major panic attack at the age of 31, I had a stressful day at work and decided to eat a slice of pie on the way home. As I walked into my front door it hit, my hear started rapidly beating, it was hard to breath my right hand went numb I couldn't talk. I went to the ER and was diagnosed with "Panic Disorder"! I wish I could stop here but the truth is my symptoms have "Evolved"? I proceeded to go to the emergency room an additional 5 times there after as well visiting my doctor....everyone just kept telling me I was okay and I needed to talk to a therapist.(I had experienced major migraines leading up to this as well, so bad I was vomiting and couldn't see.)

I am now 34 years old soon to be 35 and have come to terms that I will not find the answers from anyone and that the research needs to come from my own time and effort. I now live in Canada the doctors here also think its stress/anxiety related. (I had an EKG that showed PVCs and an abnormal Echo, I was placed on a 24 hours halter and had zero symptoms)

New symptoms:

a.Wake every night heart pounding, cannot get back to sleep this is accompanied with a weird pressure in my head and nasal pressure. b.Yesterday as I was sitting to eat I had a bout of sharp pains on my left side just bellow my breast in an Afib symptom location all the way on my left side not in the front, (I was not diagnosed with Afib but I know that is one of the signs).c. My feet and hand go numb on occasion (I do not have diabetes, I was tested) d. At times I have mild tremors all through my body Its hard to talk when this happens e. When a lay flat at night ONLY when I am tired and ready for bed, I feel throbbing in my fingertips as though the blood is trying to blast out. (My blood pressure is typically good 121/71 pulse 82 note: The lower number can get lower at times and it has been extremely high, I think it was caused by panic.) f. I can see my blood vessels through my skin so clear at times as though I am dehydrated but I am a water intake junkie! It can be hard to breath at times when laying flat. I have recently joined a gym and have new symptoms with that as well, twitching in left breast stomach cramps, I think this is muscle related. note: The head pressure comes and goes, Its the same as the pressure you feel if you were to hang upside down. I have diagnosed myself with:

1. POTS
2. Afib
3. Mitral valve prolapse

(All of the above has not been diagnosed by a doctor, my own research shows these three diseases as closest connection to my symptoms)

One of these, it has to be all conclusive with my symptoms!

Please do not respond if you do not have anything nice to say I am simply trying to find answers here, I am very uncomfortable and find it hard cope at times.

Ok. Pvcs and mv prolapse can go together.  Small prolapse no big deal.  But its mechanical, not electrical.  That's why they use echo instead of ekg to diagnose it. Prolapse can be a condition all by itself,  or the result of another issue.  They can also use mri and pet if there is a disease process in there. I would guess in most cases it just implies a small leak and that's it.   The echo tells them that much.  Hopefully,  they shared the results with you though.

Thank you, yes I am very sensitive. My doctor said that the traumatic abuse I went through as a child is manifesting in my adult life through anxiety/panic.

Anyway Than you

There is such a thing as being *too* in tune with your body.  A lot of what hypersensitive people are aware of is just meaningless bodily 'noise'--the sounds and sensations of perfectly normal functioning.

When a person's awareness of this kind of thing takes over daily life, to the extent that every little sensation creates fear, well, then we're into a disabling condition, and it's time for some serious counseling.

You apparently have been diagnosed several times with panic disorder, but it almost seems that you have avoided considering that possibility--preferring instead (and even pursuing) a serious heart condition.

Believe me, your life will be a lot more fun after you have spent just a couple of hours with a mental health professional.

Yes, just odd I feel like I am going to die sometimes. Like last night I felt pins and needles all over my body LIKE hot blood? Got out of bed to pee and noticed the veins in my legs were a dark blue not budging but very visible, kinda scary!  My wife thinks I am a Hypochondriac; my Dr. said to tell her I am not I am just more in tune with my body. But still... wth?

Hi. Sorry to hear about all of this.I am a believer in self-healing and medical help combined. in addressing my own health problems, I generallY:
1 do my own research
2 ask Drs to support me with testing and  advice
3 use a life strategies approach to address anxiety depression or other symptoms while I am seeking a longer term or more permanent solution to an issue.

In your post you mention an abnormal echo, but you state later that Mitral prolapse is your own diagnosis. FYI, usually an echo will tell you whether you have it.
