My 7 yr old brother is sick with a high temp and we need to know whether to take him to hospital or not.
He has a pulse of 116 beats per minute...
Is that normal for a 7 year old?
If not should I take him to the hospital?

Just a strict reminder first:
Next time you are in doubt if you should take someone to the hospital, you should NOT ask the question on a community or forum!
If he is sick with a high temp, the answer is yes, take him to a hospital. The heart rate isn't concerning in my (non-professional) opinion, we all have an elevated heart rate with fever and children have a higher heart rate than adults even without fever.
But if his fever is high and he's feeling unwell, then take him to see a doctor!
