Ventricular Tachycardia under 100/ ablation

I was diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia and scheduled for ablation June 3.

I read Ventricular tachycardia is heart rate over 100. Why would I be diagnosed when my rate is in the 70s? Because of the PVCs? On exertion I throw several PVCs between beats.

Thanks,
Robin

I too do not understand how a HR in the 70s would be diagnosed as tachycardia.  Perhaps there are periods when it is over 100, in the absence of sufficient physical exercise to justify a HR that high.

Have you been recorded on a wearable heart monitor?  There must be some tachycardia data somewhere.
