Very fast heart beat after cardiac ablitation

3 days ago I had an ablation . My heart is beating at about 145 bpm and is in sinus . I am also light headed and dizzy . I'm really scared that this is happening . Is this normal or am I having a panic attack ???

Sorry! My hr immediately after the procedure was around 140.

My heart rate immediately after the procedure, but the EP attributed it to being amp up. My rate slowly dropped over a period of 6 hours and by the next day, was nearly back to normal. I don't believe what you're experiencing is typical....or normal.

Is there some reason why you have eithyer not called your Dr. or.....gone to the ER? If you are showing these symptoms of being dizzy and light-headed and have a HR of 145 then I think you need to have someone drive you to the ER or call 911.
