What about alternative meds?

My cardio Doc, says there are other drugs out there to control my PVC's, and PAC's, but he will not prescribe them, because they could be possibly fatal. I am on Atenelol. Does anyone know what drugs he is talking about? He says they work, but are to dangerous. Thanks, Mark

yes on the anti-arrhythmics,

almost all of the time,  the treatment does not outweigh the risks even in my case where I had TONS of pvc's, shortness of breath, fainting etc - my ep said there's just too much risk involved with the heart

beta blockers and calcium channel blockers work for most people and they're safer; there's so many out on the market you may need to find one that will work for you

My cardio told me years ago that he could completely stop my PAC/PVC's. He told me I would not be able to function with the side effects though. He never said what the meds were. It's a catch-22. Maybe, somewhere in a medical lab right now, they are conjuring up our miracle cure! We can only hope.

I believe those are the anti-arrhythmics.  You can do a search and learn about them.
