What's happening

I've been having strange feelings around my heart area such as a few regular beats then what seems like a slam or hard beat.  This has been happening for several days now.  I am also feeling very anxious but really have nothing to feel anxious about except the feelings in my chest.  I am a 72 year old female and have heart trouble in my family history.

It sounds like sensations that many of us on this board have experienced, and many of us have funny but not dangerous heartbeats called premature ventricular contractions or PVCs for short.  You can google this.

But you should always, always have any new and disturbing heart symptoms checked out by a doctor.
