Hi i have a question regarding my heat rate. I am a 31 year old male ,6 feet tall and approx 15 stone 5 in weight, realatively active, i attend the gym approx 4-5 times a week but i mainly do weight training as i had a bad leg injury last year.
I have recently started wearing a fit-bit and havebeen monitoring my heart rate. What i have noticed is when i am sleeping my heart rate is approx 60bpm but when i get up out of bed and start walking around it ranges anywhere between 90bpm and 120bpm (depending on the pace in which i am walking)...also i have noticed i can sit for as long as i want and my heart rate will rarely drop below 70bpm, sometimes even as high as 80bpm. Does this sound normal to you? And if my resting (sleeping) heatrate os as low as 60bpm then why when i am sitting (resting but awake) does it not drop to this level? Regards Dan
