Ectopic beats are also known as PVC's (premature ventricular contractions) or PACs (premature atrial contractions). Most of the discussion on this forum are about PVCs and PACs so you might find it helpful to read some of the other posts here.
Ectopic beats are very common (most people have them) and they are not dangerous if you have a normal heart and your tests came back normal.
