amiodarone is toxic for live?

i am on amiodarone 200mg daily from last 7 months.when i start taking amiodarone my ALT and AST was within limits, but not it elevated. ALT 173, AST 88. every month it is increasing.what should i do?

I looked through your older posts to see why you are on Amio.  Sorry to see that you have such a heavy burden of PVCs and ended up with Amio but it looks like your options with the level of ablation expertise available.  Are you willing to travel outside of Pakistan get your PVC or VT ablated?  Liver toxicity and worse is common with long term usage of Amio so you really have difficult choices to make.

Talk with your doctor.  That is common with amiodarone.  Sometimes the enzymes will start coming back down on their own but you have to keep an eye on it.  If they keep elevating you'll have to figure out a new strategy and get off the medication.  Even if they keep going up for and you ultimately have to come off the med the values will come back down again.  There won't be permanent damage.  good job keeping an eye on it!
