Yes, I believe the echocardiogram (I've had several over the years) measures all physical operations of the heart, including: operation of all valves, flow efficiency, wall thickness, and sizes of all chambers... and more that I don't know anything about.
I consider the echocardiogram one of the greatest tools yet invented to analyze the physical heart, and all with only sound wave, on invasive actions taken, if you don't object to sound waves passing through your body....I don't.
