arrhythmia again!!

arrhythmia again!!

I haven't posted here in awhile but here I am again. Recap, I have nsvt, pacs, pvcs, aivr, and not often svt. Normal healthy heart normal ef. Due to have a check up next month and going to have a echo as well havent had one in three yrs. Ok this is really weird please let me know if anyone has had this as well. We all have twitches like skin twitches or eye twitches. well yesterday and today and yes it has happened before but I just thought I was having skin twitches where my heart is. But tonight I thought I was having skin twitches left side and it went on for about 20 seconds and then I thought nope this is actually my heart. So as my skin (heart) was twitching I took my  pluse and it was actually my heart it wasnt a skin twitch at all. Yesterday when it happened it was lower heart and once again I thought it was skin but now that I think about it was my heart and it was pretty strong and strange. It felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest. Tonight it was upper part of heart. And when I really think about it it has never happened on the right side always center to left side. But when I took my pulse tonight as it was doing it, it about made me have a panic attack as well it was pretty weird to feel my chest twitching and my pulse being exactly the same rythmn as the twitching. So what the heck is this?? Im alittle freaked out about this. Is it my nsvt just stronger or did I develop afib somewhere along the way as well? Im a bit concerned about this. I almost woke up my husband to feel his pulse as well. It really didnt feel like it was ever going to go back to normal. anyone anything?????

Wow! I use to be a regular here and get all sorts of feed back from everyone.. Now I havent got any this is really strange. I feel like an outcast here. Where are all my old friends who were on here and supported each other.. Just curious.

Sorry i haven't been on the site for about a week...busy, busy, busy...sounds to me what you are describing is part of your nervous system and not your heart altho you do seem to have a few issues there.  Don't freak out about this wmac....it doesn't sound too alarming to me altho you do have some heart issues this does not sound like one of them or something that is caused from your heart.  Sometimes the sciatic nerve will cause the exact symtoms (symptoms) that you are describing so that may be your issue......i swear  i wouldn't worry about this....if you are ergonomically sitting in the same postion for too long of a period of time you would also have this happen to you.....if in doubt i always say call the doc but it sounds more like your nerve endings to me wmac........

The board dynamic seems to have changed a bit over time, going from support/social to a lot of drive-by posters with just single questions (that could be answered with search), never to be heard from again, or at least donate some time back.

It's really tough for the regulars who help out to keep up.  I must admit that at times I find it tough to answer the same questions over and over again.  Support is another part of our effort, so I try to stay focused there where I can.  I know you help out a lot, and offer a lot of support.  It seems to be one-way anymore, doesn't it?  Every once in a while though we get a thank you note so at least we're helping some people.

As for you thinking that you're experiencing AFIB, Irene has some really good info on how to tell.  Trying to tell just from feelings is tough, I almost always advise that if you aren't catching it on holter or other EKG, it's a 50/50 shot that you can guess what's going on based on feelings.  In the absence of tach or other symptoms I think it's just ectopics.  Hope you feel better soon!
