bradycardiya

My father age is 59 and before six year he suddenly fell down one day, we take him in Apollo hospital and doctor diagnose that there heart beat is near about 20-25 so emergency we have to implant a pace maker and they did so.
well now my father is good in health and he is also posotive in diabetes bt after doin yoga since last 6 months diabetes is in control.
And now the day has come to recharge pace maker or to replace it,
I whould like to know that is there any case's in which patient is completly recovered from bradycardia??
or is there any scope that we can remone pace maker ? because i think yoga can prevent many dieases. so is there any impact of yoga in pace maker
please i would like to know
waiting for ur co-operation
with regards

Sorry I can give you any direct answer, but I will venture the opinion that it is possible that life style changes (to me that means food diet and exercise, rest and mind control) is strong medicine.  I don't know about yoga but I have heard a lot of good things about it and I can easily imagine/believe is yoga helps settle the spirit/mind and removed anxiety it can help improve heart rhythm performance.  Still, a slow HB, expecially anything below about 35 bpm can put a person at risk of  total heart stop/failure, so one must be cautious... I think it reasonable to discuss with the attending doctor, or perhaps another heart doctor who isn't "invested" in the pacemaker business of medicine.

Wishing you and your father good health,
