I have a strep throat infection and ever since I got sick with the sore throat and fever I have been having accelerated heart rate.  My normal resting heart rate is around 80 and but have been racing at 110 for two days. Does anyone have any experience with that? Jagersmom

Hello...

Infection and fever can both cause you to experience tachycardia. I hope that you are taking an antibiotic for the Strep infection. You should make sure that you are keeping yourself well hydrated as well, dehydration is another problems that will cause your heart rate to be tachy.

I hope that you are feeling better soon:)
