chest pain for past week.

i have been having an odd chest pain the past couple days now. first off im 20 years old, male, in fair health, and i am a smoker for about 2 and a half years now. well this pain first started about a week ago when i woke up, i woke up and i was perfectly fine, but about a half hour after i woke up i was sitting down and when i stood up i felt this extreme pain in the right side of my body, it felt like a sore muscle so i stretched a bit but it still was there. after that i left for work and on my way to work it seemed to get work, the pain in the side of my body was still there, it spread to the right side of my chest, and my right arm in one spot by my elbow was in pain. at this point the pain was very bad and i ended up leaving work half way through to go home and lay down. after taking a nap on a heating pad for about 2 hours the pain was still there. ever since then i have had this odd pain in my chest. the pain seems to be located in the center of my chest, im not to sure if its my lungs because i am a smoker or it could be my heart. the pain now is a dull pressure like pain in my chest, when i lay on my back the pain seems to deminish a bit, but if i lay on my side my heart starts to make odd noises. seems like a bubbly thumping sound and its very noticable. i havent gone to a doctor yet but depending on your replys i will be making one. please reply!

Go see a doctor.  This could be serious, or not at all, but based on the symptoms you described it warrants further investigation.
