complications from ablaton and EP study

Im 30 and just had an ablation and EP study for done for AVNRT and AVRT two weeks ago tomorrow.
. MY recovery has been VERY frustrating. Had lots of chest pain right after the procedure,  The first week I ended up going back to the DR twice.  Did an echocardiagram to rule out swelling and fluid around the heart and also did a blood test to rule out blood clots. All came back fine.
it was categorized as chostochondritis and I was told to take Aleve and Tylenol lots of it and get the back and the pecs muscles massaged.  Been feeling decent, not great, but better, tonight however I can not lay down as the pain in my left leg is awful burning painful etc. not swollen just hurts.it hurts from the incision all the way to my toes. I feel like I should be better by now, and instead am finding myself just VERY frustrated.  Has anyone else had any issues like this? Lots of pain later after the procedure was over?? thoughts? Suggestions as to what helps?  Anything would be helpful....

Get yourself back to the ER and tell them to do an ultrasound of your leg. It is possible that you may have a blood clot.
It usually takes a clot some time to progress towards the pain stage.
I had a blood clot almost a year ago from gall bladder surgery and I was diagnosed with a very small clot in my left leg. The pain then wasn't that bad, just a constant ache. I didn't have any swelling or redness in my leg either.

Get yourself off to the ER for peace of mind...Just because the blood test said no doesn't mean that you don't have one. The only way to rule it out is a doppler ultrasound scan.
The blood test you were given are not 100% in diagnosing the clot.

I had a scare a couple of weeks ago and I got the blood test and a scan and the doctor said the blood test is highly sensitive and even a cold can change the results. So I was sent for a scan. The doctor said even though the scan didn't show anything he said it could be a possible start of a clot. Luckily it wasn't.
I was already taking blood thinning medicine when I had my ablation for SVT (AVNRT) and didn't have to worry about the risk of another one.
