dangerous effects of beta blockers?

If anyone can help please, I appreciate it.  Does anyone have trouble breathing taking beta blockers nadolol?  I don't know quite what it is like I feel my breathing and it does not feel normal.  Also, developed bad rash that itches like crazy and wonder if it is the nadolol.  I didn't get it right away as I'v been taking it for several months and it is the only med found to lower my heart rate, but have these things since I'v been on it and can't help but wonder.
If anyone has any advise or similiar problems please share.   Also, there have been times that it lowered my blood pressure too much and it was awful.  Does Inappropiate Sinus Tachycardia ever go away without taking beta blockers?
Thank you

Nadolol doesn't come in 10 mgs.  My doctor told me it was o.k. to cut it the 20 mg pill in half.  I can't say I have any side effects that I am aware of. I really never even felt any constricted breathing until 2 years ago when I recoverd from a really bad brochitis.  I've been on Nadolol now for about 17 years.

I am taking 20mg daily.  I didn't know they came in 10mg, that's good to know.  I think the constricted breathing IS from the Nadolol.  I don't know.  Do you have any other side effects?  Rash, feeling tired? Thank you.

How much Nadolol  are you taking daily? I am on a very small dose 10 mg. daily and every once in awhile I feel like my breathing is a little constricted.  I'm not sure if it's from the med. or the bout of brochitis I had a couple of years ago.

Thanks for your quick response.  The doc said if it WAS an allergic reaction, it would have happened as soon as I started taking the meds.  Thanks for sharing.

I've never taken nadolol, but I think it's worth checking with the doctor to see if the new symptoms could be from the medication.

I took my son to an allergist when he was very young....and the doctor told me we never have an allergic reaction to something the first time we are exposed.  It will always be in a 2nd or subsequent exposure.  And, it can be ANY time even if it's something we've always eaten, or a med we've been taking.....

Not sure if IST "goes away" without the BB's.....
