dizzy while chest flutters

hi im 30 yrs old and ive gone to the doctor because ive been experiencing chest flutters and thumps, while at the exact  time of these flutters and thumps i experience light headedness or dizzyness and then as soon as the flutter or thump ends which is only a second or two the dizzyness or lightheadedness goes away and i only have these maybe once a month mostly, but sometimes ive had them 3 or 4 times a week or 3 or 4 times for one day in a month, then i wont have anything for months, only once did it happen for 3 days in a row several times a day, the holter monitor results said that i have a very, very, mild sinus tachycardia, but isnt sinus tachycardia a constant elevated heart rate, i never feel my heart racing, i only feel these flutters and thumps and the dizzyness or lightheadedness,no fast heartbeat or anything, another thing im confused about is when i have these flutters and thumps the dizzyness or lightheadedness is simultaneos with the flutters and thumps not before or after they happen, actually i really dont know if its lightheadedness or dizzyness im feeling its kind of hard to explain its almost like an out of it fainting type feeling, if anyone can help me i would very much appreciate it, thanx

Finally some one is able to explain the feeling!  I have been having the exact same thing.  Its almost like I feel an internal thump and dizziness all at the same time but it only last a second or so. I just had a baby 3 weeks ago, I thought maybe it had to do with loss of blood.
Atleast I know it is happening to other people.  I was being to think I was the only one!

Hello...

SInus tachycardia isn't always a constant elevated heart rate. Anytime your heart rate is above 100bpm, in a sinus rhythm, you are said to have sinus tach.

Your symtoms sound likely related to a premature beat. It can only be determined by capturing this event on an EKG or monitor (holter or event) whether they are coming from the Atria or the Ventricles. If you have been to the Dr and other than these annoying beats, your heart is in tip top shape, these beats will do nothing more than be a nusience.

The key to reducing these events is to try and figure out what triggers these to occur. Some notice them more after certain things like caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, stress and or anxiety, over the counter cold meds containing pseudo ephedrine. There are certainly many more triggers but the ones I listed are the most common.

I hope that you find relief from these:)
