If you had pause, beat, pause, beat that sounds more like begeminy ie every second beat a PVC. Even if you did have two PVCs in a row it's nothing to be concerned about.
When 625 people with healthy hearts wore a holter monitor for 24 hours 8.8% of them had PVC couplets that day. So probably more than that have them from time to time but just didn't have them the day of that study.
